As expecting to be the future 2nd largest interchange station in the world. The design intent was to create an iconic architectural monument to the site which to celebrate the success of the Qianhai development. Taking the characteristics of stone and water, to form the smooth building contour that mitigate the surounding towers and landscape become a seamless development. Every corner of the building was designed to be public spaces, consisting a viewing platform, F&B corner, shaded public spaces…etc, and to be used as an extension of the landscape. Numbers of skylights were locatedto encourage for the visual interaction between difference levels and allow for natural light penetrate to the interior.
